About New Zealand GARE

Margaret Ellis of Rainbow Studios is our N.Z. Gare Seminar Director.

Margaret has been in the Ceramic Industry for 19 years and has qualifications with several colour companies as well as having an International Teachers Certificate and Australian Judges qualification. She takes an active part in the N.Z. Associated Ceramic Artists Inc. (having been President for 6 years), and is at present the Chairperson for the Arts Pavilion at the Auckland Royal Easter Show.

Her husband George is also a qualified Teacher and expert Air brush Artist and Tutor at Rainbow Studios North Shore, Auckland where they both hold classes and teach the traditional art of ceramics. (Contemporary classes are also available)

Rainbow Studios is also the home base for the Gare Seminars and Workshops where the large range of Gare products, greenware, bisc and kiln firing are available to the public.

Margaret also travels on request to teach in Studios all over N.Z.
