TIPS AND HINTS To remove that unwanted blob of colour on your underglaze design. Cover it with Gare HiLo and allow to dry, peel it off and it will remove the colour underneath. New Moulds are sometimes hard to open. Run some warm water over the seamlines and this will release the mold. Your greenware splits in a certain spot each time you take it out of the mold. This means that area is drying faster than the rest so wet this spot inside the mold before you pour. Do you puddle? To level the tops of mugs and vases etc. if you do not have a sanding board make a small puddle of water on some newspaper and quickly rotate the piece on it then wipe with a damp sponge. Studios can now order the new Gare Garden & Satin Matte Glazes. Whether you are a novice or advanced student Gare is the way to go- new and exciting products! New and exciting techniques!
