Professional P.V.A. Woodworking & Hobby Glue.
Helmar Tradesman's Choice Professional P.V.A. Woodworking Glue is a high quality, clear drying, water based glue that complies to AS-2370 type I manufacturing standards. Specifically designed for Woodworking/Furniture industry for timber assembly work (ie. Rubbed joints, doweling, laminating, pattern making, veneering and pressing). Helmar Tradesman's Choice Professional P.V.A Woodworking Glue has a very high strength bond. Shear Strength = High (2400N), quick development of bond and non-staining of timbers. It is particularly suitable for use with soft timbers, chipboard, paperboard, school projects, crafts & hobbies and for repairing & manufacturing furniture, toys, general timber work, etc. Directions: Always test before use Ensure surfaces to be glued are clean and dry. Apply glue to one surface only. Place surfaces together whilst glue is still wet. Drying time is considered fast although this will depend on the weather. Super Strength PVA.
Helmar Super Strength PVA Woodworking Glue is a premium PVA adhesive which exceeds Australian Manufacturing Standards. It has been developed for use with timbers that require an exceptionally strong bond. Most timber is now being cut at an early age, even after kiln drying there is still considerable movement in the timber. Standard PVA's cannot hold their bond, this is especially a concern with applications such as making table or bench tops where laminating of several of timber is required. Over a period of time the joins separate. Using Helmar Super Strength PVA Woodworking glue this problem is avoided. Sheer strength is very high at 4000N. In laboratory tests using Tasmanian Oak the average sheer strength achieved was 4063 N.
