HOW TO START PAINTING

Wamiq glass products are easy to use, just clear the glass/mirror surface of any dust, grease or grime and then draw your design directly on to the surface or trace out with the help of carbon paper.

Painting with Wamiq Fabric Colors USING RELIEF PAINT LINER

To paint the out lines of your design apply relief paint liner, which is available in 20 ml
collapsible handy tube, with a plastic nozzle whose whole can be varied by cutting from different lengths. Relief paint liner is available in Black, Silver and Gold

shades. The central parts of the relieved painted work can then be filled with "Wamiq Transparent and Crystalline glass colours".

USING TRANSPARENT GLASS

Apply a thin layer of colour with a soft brush or glass dropper or you can also dip your small objects to be painted in these colours. Before painting add little "Wamiq glass colour Thinner so as to obtain the proper flow and uniform layer of colours. Keep your painted surface dust free till the colour is dry."

These colours are available in 16 transparent, 4 Opaque (white, gold, silver and copper) shades. These colours are intermixable with each other to form new shades and tones and can also be over painted on each other for this purpose, but only when the underlying layer is completely dry. Tint medium (00) can be used to reduce the concentration of any shade or can be used as a clear varnish for applying glitters or other such material. It gives clear glossy finish on drying. By mixing Opaque white (01) in any shade you can create many new soft semi opaque tones.

Wash your utensils and brushes with thinner or white spirit after you finish your work.

USING CRYSTALLINE GLASS COLOURS

Painting with Glass Colors

The use of Crystalline glass colours is almost same lime transparent colours except for the fact that a thick layer have to be applied so as to get good crystals.

Crystals start forming after 5-10 minutes and the course completes in about

30 minutes (slight variation in timing can be observed due to temperature difference). While during painting and drying keep your work away from direct blow of air (like fans etc.) a so as to allow the colour dry naturally and give good crystals.
