Working the colours

The soft workable texture of NEOPASTEL crayons makes

combined use of different techniques allows the production of countless exciting effects.

Sgraffito

Apply two or more colours, starting with the lightest, then scrape away one or more of the layers with a pointed object to reveal the colours below.

Stencils

Apply with a stencil and spread the colour with the finger

Washes / Fixing

	Dilute the colour with a brush dipped in white spirit.
	Blend NEOPASTEL crayons with linseed oil, or apply as varnish.
